Day 1 – Arrival in Heraklion
Upon arrival at Heraklion International Airport, you will be welcomed by your private driver and transferred to your accommodation in the heart of Crete’s capital. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to explore the legendary Palace of Knossos, the largest and most important Minoan archaeological site, or wander through the charming Venetian streets of Heraklion, home to vibrant cafés, restaurants, and local music venues.
Day 2 – Margarites • Arkadi Monastery • Chania
Today’s journey begins in the picturesque village of Margarites, renowned throughout Crete for its long tradition of pottery craftsmanship. Stroll through its whitewashed alleys and discover local workshops where artisans continue centuries-old techniques.
Continuing through the scenic Cretan countryside, you will pass olive groves, Roman cisterns, Minoan acropolises, Byzantine chapels, and traditional stone fountains before arriving at the historic Arkadi Monastery, one of Crete’s most important cultural and religious landmarks.
In the evening, arrive in the beautiful city of Chania, often referred to as the “Venice of Crete,” where Venetian architecture and a charming harbor create a truly unforgettable atmosphere.

Day 3 – Agia Irini Gorge • Sougia
After breakfast, travel through some of Crete’s most spectacular landscapes before reaching the entrance of Agia Irini Gorge. Enjoy a scenic hike through this impressive natural wonder, surrounded by dramatic rock formations and rich Mediterranean vegetation.
Following your hike, continue to the peaceful seaside village of Sougia, where you can relax and enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the Libyan Sea.
Important Note: During summer months, Agia Irini Gorge can experience extremely hot and dry conditions. Access may occasionally be restricted due to weather conditions or safety requirements. In such cases, an alternative excursion will be provided.

Day 4 – Lissos Gorge & Beaches • Sougia
This morning, discover the hidden gem of Lissos, one of Crete’s most beautiful coastal landscapes. Follow scenic trails through shaded valleys and along turquoise coves while admiring breathtaking views of the coastline.
Enjoy a refreshing swim before returning to Sougia, where the remainder of the afternoon is yours to relax and explore at leisure.

Day 5 – Marmara Beach • Loutro
A beautiful coastal cruise takes you from Sougia to the famous Marmara Beach, named after the striking marble formations that surround it. Relax beside its crystal-clear waters and admire the dramatic meeting point of sea and mountain landscapes.
From Marmara, continue on foot or by optional water taxi to Loutro, a picturesque whitewashed fishing village accessible only by boat or hiking trail.

Day 6 – Loutro • Glyka Nera

For those seeking adventure, a scenic coastal walk leads to Glyka Nera (“Sweet Water Beach”), one of Crete’s most spectacular hidden beaches, famous for its crystal-clear waters and untouched natural beauty.

Day 7 – Chora Sfakion • Rethymno • Heraklion
After breakfast, board a ferry to Chora Sfakion, a charming seaside village on Crete’s southern coast. Enjoy some free time to explore before continuing to the elegant city of Rethymno.
Its Venetian atmosphere, colorful facades, lively squares, and artisan boutiques make it one of Crete’s most enchanting destinations.
Later, return to Heraklion for your final evening on the island. Enjoy a farewell dinner and perhaps a traditional glass of Cretan raki while reflecting on the unforgettable experiences of the past week.
